Greetings from Bellevue

My Monday was mostly about putting together the rest of Daniel's furniture and going shopping for computer parts so he can build his new desktop, which required two trips to Fry's Electronics (they forgot to take the anti-theft device off one component the first time, plus son decided he wanted a different fan and a new printer) and one trip to Target. But the sleep sofa is functional, the pots and pans are in the kitchen, the clothes are in the dresser, and when his books arrive on Friday, he will have shelves to put them on! We had a nice evening driving out to meet cousins who took us to dinner at a terrific Thai restaurant, where we talked regional and entertainment stuff, and Mount Rainier poked out from the clouds just at sunset as we were driving back. Tuesday will involve more computer-building and more chores!

Under the tunnel...

...over the Washington Lake bridge...

...and past the cannabis emporium in Renton...

...with components to build a desktop.

Later, dinner in Bellevue with Paul's cousin Craig...

...and Craig's wife Lisa...

...before driving back to the hotel near Sea-Tac with a sunset view of Mount Rainier!
