Greetings from Sea Shell City

Though we went to the beach on Thursday both in the morning and again in the late afternoon, we spent a lot of the day doing fun beach town things: we went kayaking, we played Viking Golf, we went to Sea Shell City's DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum, we ate Kohr Bros. and bought Old Bay flavored chips and cheese balls. It was quite windy and the water was rougher than other days, so although it was warm for swimming, it made kayaking a challenge at least for the older people in our family. We saw blue crabs in the water but I couldn't photograph them!

Viking Golf is as tasteful as ever, as is Sea Shell City, which has redone parts of the Titanic and Edmund Fitzgerald displays in the museum but sadly does not have the Beatles made from cowrie shells in stock at the moment. When it started to get dark, we went to My Thai in Ocean City for vegan pad see ew and yellow curry. By the time we got back, it was late and we were all tired, so we watched a bit of preseason football and ate what was left of our Seaside Country Store fudge. On Friday we drive home, but not before another stop in Rehoboth!
