Greetings for Valentine's Day

So after 60 degree temperatures on Saturday, we had snow on Sunday morning that lasted until after lunch. We didn't have much accumulation -- maybe half an inch on the grass, none on the roads -- but the temperatures were in the 20s and I am ready for them not to be. We still have snowdrops and winter jasmine blooming in the neighborhood, so, after we watched the start of the Puppy Bowl, we went to McCrillis Gardens to see their witch hazel and camellias in snow, which were lovely (photos tomorrow).

We also watched some of the Olympics (particularly the ice dance final, where I'm sorry Chock/Bates didn't medal but I couldn't root against either Papadakis/Cizeron or Hubbell/Donohue, and the Russians didn't fall over) around the Super Bowl, which we watched with my parents amid lots of finger food provided by my mother and cookies sent by my nieces. I was rooting for the Bengals, but mostly wanted a good game, which we got! And we got Goat Loki and possibly Professor X in the commercials!
