Quickie, since we're watching SNL and the "Short Ass Movie" song is the most accurate thing they've ever done. It was a gorgeous day in the DC area, so after a morning of chores, we went to the C&O Canal to look for frogs and bluebells, and we found lots of both! The bluebells aren't quite peaking -- the hillside still looked more green than blue -- but there were lots of other flowers, the remaining daffodils and emerging woodland phlox among them, and many frogs and lots of turtles, plus plenty of waterfowl.
We stopped at the co-op on the way home to get soup, bread, and cheese, which we ate for dinner before the Duke-NC game started (we did take a mid-game break from that to watch the Ghosts we missed, and the last currently available episode of Last Tango in Halifax). I actually rooted for Krzyzewski since it's the last time, and now I don't care who wins the men's tournament since Villanova was knocked out as well. I'll root for Dawn Staley in the women's tournament, the only member of my family not rooting for UConn.
