Poem for Saturday and Ocean City Views

Oread
By H.D.

Whirl up, sea—
whirl your pointed pines,
splash your great pines
on our rocks,
hurl your green over us,
cover us with your pools of fir.

Friday was a gorgeous day, I took two walks, I saw bunnies and deer, I worried about Salman Rushdie, I had dinner with my parents (my mom made meatballs and pasta), I watched an episode of The Orville long-distance with Cheryl (very Trekkie bored-Q type storyline), and now Paul and I are watching the season finale of The Sandman, which has been excellent apart from really hating fat people and gods, so I'm distracted. Some views driving through Ocean City and Bethany last month:
