Poem for Thursday and A Bit of Snow

Dust of Snow
By Robert Frost

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

We had snow on Wednesday! Okay, we had maybe a quarter of an inch of snow that was already starting to melt by the time I got up, but it's the most snow we've had so far this winter. The shoots of daffodils in our front yard and the shoots of crocuses in the park didn't seem to mind, especially since everything not in full shade at the park had melted by the time we got there in the afternoon.

Otherwise, we had a visit from a potential basement repair company, I talked to my high school friends at lunchtime, and I mailed some stuff I sold, though someone I thought was picking up Barbies postponed. Evening TV started with National Treasure: Edge of History, still silly and quite fun, and then the start of the second season of Only Murders in the Building, still awesome cameos and great fun.
