We drove to the nearby Funko HQ, where the Star Wars and Marvel displays are still under reconstruction but lots of awesome fannish Pops and Loungefly items were on sale (I was good, I just bought a tiny Loki coin purse to go with my Alligator Loki earrings), and we walked in town for a bit when the rain slowed because we could see the tops of the Cascades. The rain had stopped by the time we reached Redmond and there was a huge rainbow over the lake, though our dock is closed for repairs so we couldn't walk out on it. My kids and I talked to my mother online for her birthday, and now we're watching the early live airing of SNL.

Greetings from Everett
I had plans on Saturday with my friend Chris in Snohomish, but she had a family emergency come up, so instead we watched most of the Orioles spring training game, had lunch at home, and drove to Everett. It drizzled on the way up but was sunny when we arrived, so we went first to the Evergreen Arboretum, which had a yarn-bombing display called Color Storm on and around many of the trees -- plus lots of daffodils and hellebores. Then we went to Wiggums Hollow Park, which has another local Chartres labyrinth, though it started to rain while I was walking the paths, so we didn't explore the skate park or playground.
