It started raining Sunday morning before we left the house, so instead of going to a park after lunch, we went to Montgomery Mall to the opening of the Lunar New Year celebration. The Chinese Culture and Community Service Center, who for many years did the dragon dance and performances annually at Lakeforest Mall (which is closing in a month), sponsored the festivities, and several of the stores were decorated as well as the corridors and ceilings. Plus we got pistachio drinks at Starbucks.
We came home for the football playoff games (I'm very glad San Francisco beat Dallas and though I rooted for Buffalo, I'm happy with Cincinnati and will root for the Bengals to win the Super Bowl), plus Paul made sweet and sour chick'n with curry noodles and mua chee -- also we may have picked up Cinnabon while at the mall for dessert. Now we're watching the middle of the second season of The White Lotus, only for Jennifer Coolidge and Aubrey Plaza at this point (okay, and Theo James naked).
