Seen at the King County Fair this afternoon: duck, pig, and goat races, Ring of Fire, wood carving, pony rides, pirate weapons show, mechanical bull riding, license plate art, ferris wheel, giant tortoises, four kinds of churros, nesting dolls, crystals, quilts, overhead motorcycle stunts, cinnamon nuts, gun safes, climbing wall, a hand-carved toilet, horses, goats, cattle, bunnies, chickens, turkeys, alpacas, guinea pigs, dogs and cats.
Seen on the way to and from the King County Fair: paragliders, Cougar Mountain, Issaquah flowers, Cedar River, Enumclaw Stadium, Ravensdale mine disaster marker, the mountain, Hobart's Yellow Submarine, and gorgeous blue sky streaked with clouds. We came home for some baseball on TV, some tortellini, a quick walk down the dock to see the ducklings, and now the last Jack Ryan episode, which has been way violent but pretty good.
