Greetings from Bellevue

We had lots of shopping to get done on Friday after a morning during which Paul worked and I unpacked living room books onto a mix of old and new bookcases. We went to Goodwill to donate mugs and household things we should have sorted before we moved, to Home Depot for hose equipment for the portable air conditioner we've been warned we will need this weekend, to Office Depot for a new desk chair, to Wild Birds Unlimited for a new bird feeder, and to Fred Meyer to check out grocery shopping there (I didn't realize they also sell clothes and have a huge garden section).

I had the funny experience of getting a big shipment of Puffs tissues with no clue why -- turned out a friend of my mother's accidentally shipped them to me instead of to herself, but we thought it could be anything from a very strange Mother's Day gift to a joke. We had yellow curry and chana masala for dinner, watched this week's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and now we're watching the news warning about the heat this weekend and the Seahawks' first day of rookie camp. Bunnies we met along the Sammamish River Trail a couple of weekends ago with Adam and Pepper:
