On Saturday morning, we picked up Daniel and Cahaya and drove to Hanover to see Paul's parents. His middle brother, Dave, is also visiting their parents for Easter with his two sons, so we all went to Blue Koi for lunch and hung out in one of the lounges where they live, eating pie (non-vegan) and cookies (vegan) while those who play guitar took turns playing for the rest of us. It was great to see everyone, especially my nephews whom we haven't seen since early 2019 and now they're grownups.
On the way home, we stopped at Lake Hashawha to take a walk; we saw snappers under the water and red-winged blackbirds in the trees, though the geese were honking from somewhere behind the woods. We also stopped at Jimmie Cone in Damascus so I could hand a couple of Barbies off to someone who bought a bunch of others from me. Then we dropped off Daniel and Cahaya at the Metro, brought Adam home so he could go out with high school friends, and watched Jesus Christ Superstar for Easter.
