We have officially moved out of the house we have lived in for nearly three decades and are currently staying in an Airbnb ten minutes away while the floors are replaced, walls painted, bathrooms rehabilitated, etc. Pretty much our whole day involved cleaning, packing, sorting, taking trash to the county dump, a stop to see the goslings at nearby Washingtonian Lake, waiting for College Hunks Hauling Junk to pick up the mattress we slept on the night before, and pizza with my parents before we went home to force the cats into carriers -- they were already so upset about not having any beds to hide under that they didn't struggle as much as usual. This is where we are for the next couple of weeks:
