Greetings in Transition

My house is almost entirely empty! The movers arrived at 8 a.m. and had finished packing and loading the truck by 1 p.m. The rest of my day was all about photographing and listing the remaining furniture -- four bookcases, three dressers, a bed, a desk -- plus a lot of smaller items and one table that I was going to give away, but someone who saw the listing advised me to look up the manufacturer and it turned out to be worth more than I could have guessed, which made it more attractive! 

After a short visit with our realtor to give her our keys and talk about interest in the house, we had dinner with my parents and Google Meet conversations with my kids. Then we came home, I sorted through hundreds of messages from people who want what's left in the house, and we watched The Last Temptation of Christ because we hadn't seen it in a decade and it's still pretty close to Easter.
