Greetings from Lumen Field

Quickie -- in half an hour we're going to pick niece and her boyfriend up from SeaTac, so that tomorrow we can all get up and go downtown early to try to beat the insane traffic of a weekend that includes not only the Taylor Swift concert we're attending tomorrow night, but a Mariners game, the Capitol Hill Block Party, Bite of Seattle, a Seattle Storm game, and the preparations for Chinatown's Seafair Parade -- with a couple of major bridge and road closures. 

 My Friday was mostly chores getting ready for a hectic weekend, plus a walk to the beach, some Women's World Cup on TV, and this week's Foundation (Gaal and Salvor rock, but I keep having to remind myself that Lee Pace is the bad guy so I do NOT want him to seduce anyone).
