Extreme quickie after looking for (and failing to see) the northern lights, which were visible in some areas not far from here last night. We spent the afternoon and much of the evening at Redmond's Derby Days, a carnival and arts festival spread around the center of the city, which included in our case both a stop at the bank (because our house sale closed this morning so we have investments to consider) and the local library (from which we now have library cards with Baby Yoda on them!)
We also visited all the craft stalls in Redmond Town Center, walked through the midway, and strolled among the food and miscellaneous vendors around city hall. Then we took the shuttle back to the town center and ate dinner at Thai Ginger, which was delicious. We got home in time to see the Mariners lose and watch the first episode of the second season of Foundation. A few pics, more soon!
