Poem for Friday and Ballard Seals

the rough sea

--------

I spent Friday morning doing chores -- we're about to get a rug for the second bedroom, at which point we can also get a sleep sofa and have guests! Then I discovered that several illicit recordings of Rogers: The Musical had been posted to YouTube and Disney hadn't taken them down, which makes me wonder whether Disney is pondering releasing it more widely if the response is good outside the park, which I am very much in favor of, especially if Bucky gets a song.

It was a hot afternoon that made me so happy I live right near the lake and can put my feet in the water at the beach! Paul made veggie mole for dinner since I couldn't eat the mole at the restaurant in Ballard last weekend, then we watched the Mariners game until it became more atrocious than the Orioles game earlier, and now we're watching The Other Two, which is hilarious. Also from Ballard last weekend, the seals in the Hiram Chittenden Locks:
