Greetings from Charlton

I had a very Renaissance day, having spent the afternoon with Paul and Meredith at the Autumn Knights Renfaire in Charlton. We saw jousters practicing, witches dancing, blacksmiths hammering, wire-wrappers making jewelry, musicians singing and playing instruments, armorers demonstrating swordplay, and a wide variety of costume.

 

We stopped at Burger King on the way home to get veggie burgers, then ran out to Shaw's in the early evening to get food for the week. We weren't very hungry for dinner though! Now we're watching the Patrick Stewart-Kate Fleetwood Macbeth, which we recorded off PBS a decade and a half ago and haven't watched probably in that long.
