After we ate, Adam went with Daniel to the latter's house to pick up a coffee table for his new apartment while we went on ahead to Fremont to visit the troll under the bridge. When Adam arrived, we saw his new apartment, then took a walk with him and Pepper to the Wallington Playfield to see the neighborhood.
When we got home, our cat-sitter neighbors surprised us by inviting us over for apple pie and Chanukah presents, which was lovely -- they are also Star Trek fans and it's always fun to talk to them. Now we're watching The Gilded Age and consoling our cats who were neglected for several hours; fortunately they got presents too.
