Greetings from Brookside Gardens

We had an absolutely gorgeous 75-degree Saturday, so after a bunch of packing and a quick lunch, we went to Brookside Gardens, where we met up with Denise! We saw lots of turtles and daffodils and some geese -- no goslings, but we did see a pair of very amorous geese trying to make goslings -- as well as many other flowers and what cherry blossoms remained before the afternoon storms. Before that, though, I met another friend in Wheaton to give him a few last Star Trek toys and we stopped for ice cream on the way home.

We had rain, wind, and even a bit of hail before dinner, though fortunately our power stayed on while I started sorting our hanging photos and art to decide how many frames we really need to keep. We missed both the Nationals and Orioles losses, though we watched both Final Four games -- UConn led throughout, which will please my in-laws, and that was an impressive ending, San Diego State. Now we're watching SNL, on which Che pranked Jost with a Trump joke and a dead silent audience so hard that I'm still laughing, so that April Fool worked.
