Greetings from the End of the Season

Kate is visiting me for the weekend and we were supposed to be going to the Red Sox games on Friday and Saturday nights, and she was going to go to the Sunday afternoon game too. But a nor'easter is on the way, and by last night we knew that Sunday's game had been moved to 1 p.m. today, so Paul and I got (very inexpensive because of the changed date) tickets for that game while we were having breakfast at Pavement Coffee near the Berklee College of Music. 

We went to that game, then to tonight's game which got moved up to 5:30 -- it was Pokemon Go night with team jerseys, and there was a tote bag giveaway -- so we ate ballpark food, listened to ballpark music, and heard about it as the Red Sox announced that Saturday's game was being moved to Sunday afternoon in Florida, where obviously we can't see it, but the Sox won both games today and we got to see their last home out of the season. So tomorrow we'll have to do non-baseball things!
