Greetings from Edmonds Arts Festival

We had drizzle all day Saturday but I had a lovely day anyway. I did some computer work in the morning, then we had lunch and went to meet Daniel and Cahaya at the Edmonds Arts Festival, where over 200 artists plus food vendors and musicians set up in tents and inside the Frances Anderson Center. We saw painters, glassblowers, jewelry crafters, woodworkers, pottery, large sculpture, and a model of the Jewish Space Laser (yes really), and we had ice cream and I bought a little dichroic cat necklace.

We walked back to the car past houses with spectacular rose gardens and stopped at Safeway for plant-based whipped cream, because after dinner Paul's youngest brother, Jon, and his wife and twin sons came over to see the apartment and eat strawberry shortcake after a walk down to the dock to see the ducklings and baby bunny. We haven't seen them on this coast in more than a decade! Tomorrow we've having brunch with them and our kids and girlfriends.
