Poem for Tuesday and Jewish Space Laser

But Outer Space
By Robert Frost

But outer Space,
At least this far,
For all the fuss
Of the populace
Stays more popular
Than populous

--------

Tuesday was like a Monday -- laundry, recycling -- and it rained all morning and afternoon, so I was mostly boring and indoors. In the late afternoon the rain turned to mist and we walked to the beach, then my Voyager group watched the second episode of Picard's third season, "Disengage" -- which objectively felt like way too much telling, not enough showing, and I scoff at the central storyline no matter how it's fed to me. As before, I hate how much these beloved figures are used as plot devices instead of characters to develop. But it's nice to see the TNG actors having fun.

Younger son's girlfriend had a cello lesson in the evening, so she dropped son off here on the way so he could have strawberry shortcake with us. We dug out what's left of the things of his we brought from Maryland (a big framed penguin puzzle, some 3D prints he made in college, some camera stuff), and she came in for a while for a lucky Pokemon trade that got me a perfect! Now we're watching the first episode of the last season of Endeavour. A few people asked me for pictures of the Jewish Space Laser from the Edmonds Arts Festival that they could share, so here they are:
