Greetings from Gaithersburg

We got up Saturday morning, ate breakfast in the hotel, and took a walk around Washingtonian Lake to see waterfowl and stop in a couple of stores, then we picked up Bethesda Bagels and went to my parents' house, where we ate lunch, watched the Michigan-Indiana game, walked around the neighborhood, and hung out chatting. 

My parents took us to dinner at Pama Thai (excellent panang curry) and we had video calls with both our kids. In the evening we came back to Washingtonian Lake, where we met Kay for dessert at the Silver Diner and walked around the lake again to see sleepy geese. Now we're watching the World Series.
