Greetings from Calvert Cliffs

Paul had planned to take Monday off back a million years ago when we thought we might go to Seattle this weekend. So since it was another gorgeous 75-degree day, he did not work and we went to Calvert Cliffs State Park, where we brought a picnic, walked the two miles to the beach along Grays Creek through the beautiful fall woods, and I got to have my feet in the Chesapeake Bay one last time this season.

We saw eastern bluebirds, Canada geese, a few turtles, a fence lizard, and lots of lovely things I'll post next week when I'm more organized. We came home in time for a quick dinner, Antiques Roadshow (no one ever paid me back a debt with a Warhol painting), the start of the second season of Sex Education, and the end of the Patriots-Jets game (reminder to self, I do not care about football this season)!
