Greetings from the Valley Craft Network

Quickie because I have to get up extremely early tomorrow to pick up Adam from the airport, which is all good but I need some sleep! We had a nice Saturday afternoon on the Valley Craft Network Studio Tour, which involves farms and crafters around Middletown and Pleasant Valley -- we started at Caprikorn Farm, where we got goat cheese and soap but more importantly got to feed animal crackers to the aforementioned goats, then we went to Van Gilder Pottery right near Gathland, and we wound up at South Mountain Creamery, which now has eggnog.

On the way home, we stopped at Giant so we would have food to feed our kids who are arriving over the next two days, then ate dinner and did some chores. We just spent the evening watching Downton Abbey: A New Era, which in many ways was even more ridiculous than the show (one plot stolen from Singin' in the Rain and another that chickened out on the obvious implied critique of an inherited class system plus what would have been the most interesting aspect of Maggie Smith's character's self-presentation, right after she bragged about what a good liar she is)!
