Quick hello from the first stop of the Happy Post-Election Day Reunion Tour, a.k.a. trip to New England. Paul had to work half the day -- he had meetings -- so we left home at noon, and I managed to do my Wednesday call with my high school friends from the car north of Baltimore. The Merritt Parkway was a traffic disaster area, as was I-95, but we got to see lots of bridges and turning leaves.
Our destination for the evening was New Haven, where I met Rachel (for the first time in nearly a decade) at Saray Turkish Restaurant, where we had fabulous dips and cheese pies and caught up face to face on the things we don't always get to discuss in depth on Facebook. It was wonderful to see her and New England agrees with her, though I miss having her near DC! A few photos of us, bridges, and travel:
