Paul only had to work half a day on Friday before the long weekend, and he had to start very early because of meetings on the east coast, so by the time I was awake enough to do anything, he was mostly done for the day. We had an early lunch, then went to Larsen Lake Blueberry Farm, which is mostly picked out and already has turning leaves, but we managed to pick over two pounds of blueberries, plus we walked around the lake and saw frogs, geese, ducks, and many bees and spiders.
Paul's parents wanted to chat on Skype while we were at the farm, so we talked to them for a bit, then paid for our berries and headed to Safeway to get provisions for the weekend (for instance, making blueberry pancakes for dinner). We saw the Mariners and Orioles lose, then we watched the first three episodes of The Wheel of Time, which I have partly mixed up with The Witcher and Shadow and Bone in terms of Big Bad details, but it has the best women so I'm still enjoying it a lot!
