Labor Day was chilly and overcast. We'd thought about going to a blackberry festival in Bremerton, but decided we weren't up for an all-day expedition, so instead we went to the Bellevue Botanical Garden, whose dahlias are at peak bloom. We walked around the big loop over the ravine bridge and saw the Japanese gardens and local wildflowers, too.
After picking up some home supplies at Target and some food at the PCC, we came home, watched most of the Orioles win over the Angels and a bit of Duke's unexpected blowout of Clemson, and had home fried food for dinner. Now we're watching more Grantchester, which has lovely performances by the leads and relatively few murders per capita, so I'm enjoying it!
