Saturday had gorgeous cool fall weather and a low tide at midday, so after a quick breakfast and some morning chores, we went to Lincoln Park in West Seattle. It's right on Puget Sound a bit south of Alki, right near the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal, so we walked on the beach looking for anemones and little crabs, ate lunch at a picnic table near the playground, and saw seals swimming in the water surprisingly close to shore.
We stopped at Redmond Town Center on the way home for a bit of shopping, Cold Stone ice cream, and spinning Pokestops. Then we watched the miserable Mariners game, which, combined with the Astros win, means that there will be no postseason for Seattle. At least the Terps trounced Indiana, the Orioles won, and their minor league team the Norfolk Tides are the AAA national champions. Afterward it was The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar.
