Quickie because Flickr decided not to load my photos for far too long tonight so it took me a while to post them below. We spent most of the day at Issaquah's Salmon Days, a festival to celebrate the return of the salmon to spawn in the lakes and streams nearby and the crafts and commerce of the region, including food both created locally and brought by immigrants from all over the world. We bought some ceramics, jams, and wood ornaments, collected swag from local businesses, and visited some historical sites in Issaquah.
We got snacks at the festival and at the historic Shell station before we ate lunch in nearby Confluence Park, where we and others spotted a lost dog and spent some time trying to track down a rescue organization. The Orioles were once again losing to the Rangers when we got home and the Ravens had already lost, so after chatting with my parents and making sure that Dallas would not beat the 49ers (the only game all weekend where the team I wanted to win did), we watched the first couple of episodes of Suits.
