Greetings from Sol Duc

Another quick summary of long magnificent day starting with a drive to First Beach at La Push (on a detour because of a horrible accident blocking the road); wading in rocky tidepools full of sea stars and anemones; traveling through the Quileute Reservation back to Forks; visiting Forks' Forever Twilight collection of costumes and props mostly donated by people associated with the films; browsing assorted Twilight and Sasquatch-themed stores; driving to Sol Duc to walk the Ancient Groves trail, hike to Sol Duc Falls, visit the Sol Duc Resort, sit in hot springs surrounded by mountains, and picnic under the trees with birds and flying ants; and driving around Forks' various Twilight tourist spots including the outfitters store where Bella worked, the police station where her father was the chief, the "Cullen House" and "Swan House" AirBnbs, and Edward's father's parking space at the hospital:
