We stopped at Scandinavian Specialties on the way home to get Swedish farmer cheese and look at the gorgeous expensive lopapeysas. It had started to drizzle by the time we got home to feed the cats, where we ate dinner, watched the Mayfair Witches and Sanctuary episodes we missed last night -- both full of stereotypes about witches and pagans, so neither my favorite -- then the second episode of Watson, which, now that we've been watching House, feels like a barely-updated remake of the latter, so we'll see if the characters hold my interest enough to keep watching.

Greetings from Carkeek Park
It was overcast on Monday morning, so except for chatting with a couple of people and organizing some files, I didn't do much until lunchtime. Then we went to Carkeek Park, where it was low tide when we arrived so we got to see lots of little crabs, barnacles, anemones, and snails -- plus seagulls and crows trying to have an all-you-can-eat feast of all of the above. We also walked along the creek to see snowdrops blooming and lots of trees cut down by beavers, plus their dam which had ducks and a great blue heron on it, though the beavers themselves were hiding.
