My Friday was fairly typical though interrupted in the middle to watch the new king's speech and the Queen's memorial service (for some reason I can't resist Anglican hymns). After that and some work, we went out to run a few errands, then we took a walk at Locust Grove, where I got to talk to the turtles and quail who live outside the nature center.
I loved this week's episode of The Rings of Power; I'm very wary of Halbrand and was really hoping for no warg battles so soon, but the world-building thrills me and Galadriel is great. Now we're watching the new Pinocchio, which is very uneven, slow to get started and scary for kids. Don Juan and Miguel at the Pennsylvania faire last weekend:
