Quick post as we spent the early evening buying a car -- first time in 20 years! Our 2004 Sienna needs a bunch of work that's nearly the value of the minivan, and we're worried about prices and availability in the new year because of tariffs, so we figured that combination meant it was time, though the van "only" has about 150,000 miles on it, which isn't particularly high for a Toyota. They only had white RAV4s on the lot, so we're waiting to trade the minivan until a gray one comes off the boat in a couple of weeks, but we put a down payment on it.
We also went to CVS in Bellevue to pick up a prescription and to Bellevue Square for dinner (ended up being at Great State Burger, which has very good veggie burgers) and some unsuccessful shopping -- lots of horrible expensive uncomfortable shoes at Macy's and Nordstrom, I think I'm wearing 20-year-old shoes to Adam's wedding. The Agency (no idea in the latter how the girl trying to get to Tehran's story connects to Michael Fassbender's but I figure it must connect to Jodie Turner-Smith's).
