Greetings from Edmonds

Quickie, ran super late tonight but I had a very nice day despite some drizzle. After the Michigan-UW game, some morning reading, and lunch, we went to North Creek Park in Bothell, where we walked on the boardwalks through the wetlands and saw geese, an eagle, a snail, a woolly bear caterpillar, and several crows.

Then we went to Fairbank Farm, which has a pumpkin patch and various squash and peppers at this time of year. But the real attraction for me are the pettable goats and feedable ducks and geese (the farm provides food), plus pigs, sheep, cows, turkeys, chickens, and more exotic fowl, including chicks and ducklings.

We stopped at Safeway on the way home, watched the atrocious Maryland-UCLA game, ate leftover Thai food, and watched The Woman in Cabin 10, which has some actresses I like but a preposterous ending. For a variety of reasons I did not go to the No Kings marches, but I'm glad the turnout was good and hope everyone votes next month.
