Greetings from Green Lake

I spent Sunday morning finishing my Shutterfly calendar, then we went to Green Lake to hang out and walk dogs with Daniel and Cahaya. There was rain in the morning and evening, but we had beautiful weather while walking around the lake; the leaves were starting to change, tents were being set up for the evening Water Lantern Festival, and it was Pokemon Community Day, so we caught Solosis and evolved it into Reuniclus. Theo and Thandi got puppuccinos and the rest of us got hot drinks at the Greenlake Boathouse, and we saw lots of waterfowl and little dogs our granddogs wanted to mounch. 

Daniel had brought back durian chocolate from Asia, which to my great regret I tasted, though Cahaya made us orange mocktails and we tried their Korean raspberry liqueur too, both of which were excellent. They had plans in the evening, so we came home for the Mariners game (winning in Toronto!) and ordered Ballard Pizza to eat while watching. Afterward, we watched the Lilith Fair Building a Mystery: The Untold Story documentary, which is depressing (so much asshattery in the music industry) and nostalgic (so much fabulous '90s music). Now waiting for the hostages to be freed.
