It was 95 degrees on Saturday, which makes me quite grateful for air conditioning even though air conditioning is contributing to why the temperatures are so high. I stayed indoors around lunch catching Alolan Geodudes for Pokemon Community Day -- not in the spirit of the event since I didn't walk at all, but at least I didn't melt -- them we went to Glenstone, where it was very hot but we mostly stayed in the shade and saw the Vija Celmins exhibit, where we were the only non-curators in the gallery. There were lots of flowers in bloom and tadpoles in the water court.
Paul and I accidentally watched half of The Avengers last night, so we finished that after dinner -- gotta admit, I know we're all supposed to hate everything Joss Whedon ever did now, but that movie really holds up for me -- after which we watched Treasure Planet because we had scrolled by it on Disney+ and realized we hadn't seen it in so many years that we didn't remember the details. It's supposed to be nearly as hot tomorrow as it was today, so we're going to see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness again with Cheryl.
