Extreme quickie, had a late-night phone call from Daniel who's still testing positive for covid though it's been a week since his first positive test and he mostly feels fine. It was another extremely hot day, so although we had had plans with Cheryl to go to the Virginia Renaissance Faire, we decided instead to go see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness since she hadn't seen it and I think I enjoyed it more the second time, though my previous complaints stand.
We went to Burger King afterward for Impossible Burgers, then came home and watched the last episode of Ridley Road, which I enjoyed -- wasn't sure the Jewish characters would get happy endings -- and this week's Hacks, in which Ava doesn't go off the deep end sabotaging anyone for a change and Deborah's ego gets her into the usual amount of trouble. A movie Daniel likes, the current Marvel offering, the next Marvel offering, and a gift from Cheryl -- a Thor fan with candy!
