Greetings from Bridle Trails

Sunday was just as hot as Saturday, so again we decided not to go downtown or even to Camlann's Harvest Festival. Instead, after a morning with reading, sports, and a chat with Paul's father, we went to Bridle Trails State Park, where the trails are in deep woods and even in dry summer the ground under the ferns stays damp. The Lake Washington Saddle Club was having a dressage event, so there were a lot more people and horses than usual in the parking lot and arena, but we saw very few in the woods.

We stopped at World Market, which has its Halloween and Thanksgiving decor on full display and is just starting to make room for Christmas even though it's August. From there we went to Safeway for food for the week, and I did a few more Zamazenta raids both locally and remotely. When we came home, we watched some more baseball, ate dinner, and watched the end of the fourth season and start of the fifth season of Poldark, which is not growing on me but at this point we may as well finish it.
