Greetings from Tahoma
Spent a beautiful Sunday at Mount Rainier with our next door neighbors/catsitters, who drove us there! Saw Steller's jays and Canada jays, ground squirrels, deer, butterflies, marmot holes though no marmots; walked to waterfalls and meadows of wildflowers; looked up at glaciers, stones and snow fields; ate lunch sitting outside with food from the cafe and dinner in the restaurant at Paradise Inn and listened to the lobby pianist play show tunes. Got to see a spectacular sunset on the drive home after a stop for Rainier cherries from a roadside stand across from the scenic railroad, and now we're watching the season finale of The Gilded Age in which I wish they'd just let George Russell die. More tomorrow!
