We spent most of Sunday in Green Lake, where we went to Daniel's house to meet him and Cahaya, then headed to Kitanda for brunch and to meet Adam and Katherine, who had been in Ballard at the locks and fish ladder in the morning. It was a Pokemon Community Day and I had received an invitation via Campfire from a local group who had pins and lures on all the Pokestops, which made it lots of fun -- so many people playing all around the lake!
Adam and Katherine had to get home early in the afternoon, but we managed to Skype both my parents and Paul's parents post-Pokemon before Daniel and Cahaya headed out to have dinner with her parents. We came home with lots of Squirtles and some souvenirs for sale by Pokemon fan crafters on the walk around Green Lake, where the weather was again spectacular, for paprikash and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
