Another quickie, just back from the Mariners game during which, as Adam said, they apparently forgot they were a major league baseball team against the Tigers (and it was already a disappointment for us because due to some very unfair distribution and just plain obnoxious stadium employees, we did not get our Hawaiian shirts for Hawaiian shirt night -- I will not buy tickets for a giveaway night again). All our kids came, though Daniel wasn't feeling great, to watch some mediocre play by the home team. We could see the Sounders fireworks from our seats.
It was a bit of a disaster day anyway, because just after I posted last night, one of our closet shelves collapsed (dumping all my dresses all over the floor) and it can't be fixed till Monday, so we have clothes currently stored all over the place. We did get some shopping done at Michaels, QFC, and World Market, and we got to drive to the game with Adam and Katherine (who had other friends at the game too -- Charlie the Corgi's owners), and met Daniel and Cahaya there, and I got an acai bowl and lots of stadium junk food, so all in all it was a good time!
