Quickie, we're watching 65 which has some distinct flaws as a sci-fi movie but Adam Driver is giving it his all and the kids are pretty good. We spent the morning putting together the new sleep sofa, which had the usual IKEA bad directions problems but we eventually got it figured out, and the bed got the cat seal of approval as Effie slept on it and Katniss under it for a while this evening.
In the afternoon, we went to pick blueberries at Larsen Lake Farm, one of the blueberry farms run by the city of Bellevue on historic farm sites -- this one has a historic log cabin built in the 1890s by a German immigrant, which was then leased to a Japanese American family until they were sent to a World War II internment camp. We also stopped in Safeway so we can make pancakes with said blueberries.
