Greetings from a Rainy Sunday

I spent the entirety of Sunday, as it rained hard from before dawn till after dusk, doing Pokemon Go's legendary birds raid day (four remotely, six with a friend), talking on Zoom with friends (mostly fannish, some politics), and watching (while eating dinner in front of the TV with lots of cat "help") the Golden Globes red-carpet-from-home, pre-show, and award show, all of which had major glitches and some annoying aspects, plus there are all the issues with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association though those go back so many years that it's laughable Hollywood just decided to notice them.

But there were also some lovely moments involving John Boyega, Mark Ruffalo, Jane Fonda, Regina King, Chloe Zhao, Sacha Baron Cohen -- also sometimes problematic but between his claim that Donald Trump was contesting the results and his self-congratulation for discovering new porn star Rudy Giuliani, I begrudge him neither award -- and especially Chadwick Boseman's widow, who was devastating. Now we're watching John Oliver (who calls his balls the Hemsworth brothers "because they look great and everyone's surprised there's a third one") so here are photos of my day:
