Greetings from Fredericksburg

Watching the SNL unexpected-clip-show-due-to-COVID after a lovely long day in Fredericksburg, where we met Adam's girlfriend, her father, and her brother for Pokemon Community Day. We parked right next to the farmer's market and walked through a bit of it on the way to the park, grabbing a cinnamon bun to eat then and a pumpkin cream cheese roll to eat later, then circled the downtown area at least twice, looking at the decorated storefronts and visiting Hyperion Espresso, sitting at their outdoor tables when it started to drizzle.

We also stopped in the LibertyTown Arts Workshop to look at the crafts, but Katherine was summoned to a work call, so we followed her back to her house to say hello to her mom, a college professor who had spent the afternoon grading papers. We didn't get home till nearly 8 p.m., so we had a quick dinner of leftovers and pumpkin roll, watched the first episode of the new season of The Witcher, and Skyped with our kids, since Daniel is getting his booster tomorrow along with Cahaya and they expected to be tied up a lot of the day.
