Greetings from the End of Winter

It was an unseasonably warm 78 degrees on Sunday! There was some rain in the morning, so we did chores and stuff around the house, then we had sandwiches as the sun was coming out and went to walk on the C&O Canal. Because of the weather, there were lots of frogs and turtles in the water along with several kinds of ducks and geese, and daffodils starting to come into bloom around the banks! 

We stopped at Trader Joe's on the way home (obviously we need to stop for Mediterranean hummus on a day besides Sunday, sob). Then we had a family Zoom chat for my mother's birthday -- we'll have one with the West Coast family on Wednesday, the actual birth date -- for which my sister sent everyone cake and princess party hats! Afterward we watched Billions and Last Tango in Halifax. In photos:
