Greetings from Washingtonian Lake

Sunday was a beautiful sunny day, though cold enough that we still have some snow on the grass. Since it was also the morning after Daylight Savings, huzzah, we slept late, and since it was also a Pokemon Community Day and there were adorable Sandshrews everywhere, I caught some in the neighborhood, then we went to Washingtonian Lake and I caught a bunch more, plus I got to see domestic and Canada geese and mallards and wood ducks and a cormorant.

We had (faux) barbecue chicken for dinner after watching the NCAA tournament selection show -- none of my alma maters were even in the running, so I guess I'm rooting for Virginia Tech after their public service on Saturday -- then we watched this week's Billions, in which Chuck is totally losing it and I don't think government works the way the writers think it works, and some Last Tango in Halifax, in which every single character needs less alcohol and more condoms!
