Sunday was cool and overcast, a perfect day for being out walking. We spent the morning moving boxes back and forth between our apartment and storage unit (wall art in, Arthurian books out -- complete Arden Shakespeare is either mislabeled or buried under things, I am very sad about this). Then we drove to Green Lake and met Daniel and Cahaya at Kitanda, where we had acai bowls and tapioca bread before we headed out to catch Fennekin for Pokemon Community Day.
Green Lake at this time of year has both goslings and ducklings on its shores and there are still lots of rhododendrons blooming in the neighborhood around, so it was lovely. We went back to Daniel's house to play with the dogs and Skype my parents, then we stopped at Safeway and came back for dinner (Safeway has vegan salmon cakes!) and this penultimate episode of Succession, which has made me shriek aloud several times -- that entire family is a cautionary tale.
