Greetings from Meadowlark Gardens Easter

Easter Sunday was a beautiful day here, so after brunch, we went to Meadowlark Gardens. There are still bluebells and columbine on the woods trail and lots of tulips and redbuds in the gardens, and there was an Easter egg event for children so there were decorations around the garden. There were also lots of turtles, a couple of frogs, and several geese, one of whom appeared to be protecting either eggs or goslings, but I did not want to bother her so I'm not sure which.

We stopped at Giant on the way home, admired Easter desserts, had chick'n marsala for dinner, and watched the Doctor Who special, which I really expected to love since it involved space pirates and women sailing flying ships, but it barely held my interest, especially when we got yet another iteration of "you are the most worthy person of love I have ever met but I Just Can't" because I simply no longer care. Sanditon is bad soap-y and predictable, but still held my interest better!
