Greetings from Volunteer Park

We watched the Orioles preseason game on Saturday morning while one of the raccoons was napping in the sun in the tree by our deck, so we decided to eat lunch early and go to Volunteer Park to see the conservatory and the views outside, which include many ducks, the Asian art museum, the Space Needle, and lots of daffodils. We also walked to the Lake View Cemetery next door to pay our respects to Bruce and Brandon Lee and up the water tower to see the views, and we stopped at St. Mark's Cathedral so I could walk the labyrinth there.

On the way home, we went to Safeway and got what's probably the only three minutes of snow we'll have had this winter, then drove home under a rainbow as the sun came out. We watched Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on Max -- I have unashamed love for that movie, from "Look, Loki, you already lived up to your end of the deal so you can go back to Azkaban" to "No one hits my brother but me" to the Kevin Costner arrow shot to "I Am Iron Man" ending -- and now we're trying Netflix's live action Avatar: The Last Airbender, which I'm really enjoying a lot.
